A local Hairdresser in the St Saviours area of Leicester needed a window graphic to both advertise his name and offer a degree of privacy for his customers from members of the public passing by.
He didn’t want to totally block out the light to the interior of the shop as the true day light through the windows assists in providing the light necessary for undertaking hair styling and cutting.

Silver etch style material along with an the weeded out owners name using a new style font was agreed  and the signage was produced and installed in less than 48 hours.

The salon owner Nirmal is happy with the overall effect and is now considering replacing all his exterior signage using the same font for a corporate identity.

dscf2795.jpg

Blaby District Council make full use of the space available on the side’s of their refuse vehicle’s to inform and appeal to local voters to make full use of their right to vote.
This pro-active council approached Reflex Design who already manufacture and supply the existing vehicle safety livery to help with the production and installation of the information they need to get across to the residents of the Blaby District Council area.

The Idea is good one, as the vehicles must be seen by at least 10,000 people a day as they conduct their work in and around the borough, this multiplied by the number of vehicles becomes a massive advertising media and will probably be considered for future campaigns and financial benefits for the council.

Chatfield’s of Leicester, part of the Pendragon group is the local Ford and Iveco commercial vehicle dealer to the East midlands.
Following the Launch of the new Ford Fiesta van they saw an opportunity to further promote the vehicle for use within the public sector and local authorities’ throughout the United Kingdom by adopting the recently modified Chapter 8 Regulations on to the Fiesta van in order to offer a complete Chapter 8 demonstration vehicle.

Chapter 8 is a new regulation introduced by the Highways Agency for attachment to road vehicles working on the highway that may cause other road users to reduce speed, alter course or direction. It’s a series of bright rear chevrons and side fluorescent stripes that must be made from a micro-prismatic material that reflects most of the light back that shines on it day or night.
Reflexite VC312 Daybright is the material of choice due to its excellent retro-reflective conspicuity properties, and this material combined with the very latest designed Ford Fiesta van make them an unbeatable partnership for cost effectiveness of running costs and product durability incorporating a genuine residual value.

The approximate cost of a chapter 8 kit can be as little £110.00 for small vehicles up to £225.00 for larger types.

They also requested etch window graphics to inform the public the different services available.

Responsible business owners “SOLO” hairdressers, of the Parade in Oadby, Leicestershire have recognised the current economic downturn and the difficulty being faced by customers who are having to tighten their belts when thinking about personal grooming issues.

As a result, Sue and her team have introduced reductions to support both loyal and new customers during this difficult period.

Reflex Design were asked to provide this information to the customer base and decided that the best way forward was to speak to them through simple window graphics

Both Solo and Reflex agreed this strategy was the most cost effective and best way to impart the offers to customers old and new.

Following a recommendation from Bob Millington,We were able to offer a solution to the problem being experienced by the Hands industrial Cleaning Group.

Their existing livery supplier was no longer able to offer the service required by the customer. Bob Millington contacted us after having had work completed by us before and asked us if we could step into the breech to expedite his customers needs.

We immediately spoke to Bill Hargrave, the Managing Director of the Hands Cleaning Group and between us we were able to solve his immediate problems by providing the graphics for his new vehicle, a Ford Transit Connect.

We had Photographs to work from and our in house design team were able to re-produce the corporate identity graphics specified by the company.

We now have the Hands Group livery installed in our cad design hardware and are able to modify the design to fit any vehicle small or large.
